Studio & Sets
Access to Studio & Sets
All our packages are on set sharing basis, single set at a time. Management reserves its rights to allot different sets and/or locations to different customers.
The customer is supposed to use one set only for 20 minutes at a stretch. In case, there is no other customer waiting, you can continue using the set further. Customers and people accompanying them are expected to maintain an orderly discipline and be respectful towards others' space and privacy, to enable everyone to get the desired results.
Entry to the Studio
Entry to the studio is allowed 15 minutes prior to the check-in time.
Balance payment and deposit amount needs to be paid at the time of check-in.
Make up room is allotted at the time of check-in.
All third party payments for other services i.e. food, outfits, equipment rentals, etc. should be paid when requested by the studio.
Check out time remains the same irrespective of late check-in.
Set availability
Out of the sets shown in the Cine City catalog, some sets may not be available on the shoot day due to maintenance, alterations, wear and tear, power failure, weather and other such reasons. In case, the customer is looking for specific set, they are requested to enquire the same prior. We make every effort to make all the sets available to our customers. However, in case of unavailability no refund, payment deductions or any other claims shall be entertained.
Visit
Visit to Cine City is permitted by prior appointment only. Such visit is not chargeable. We highly recommend to visit Cine City or do a Video call for recce before booking.
Inspection
Inspection of the Studio premises including equipments can be done prior to the booking, and in case of any discrepancy, customer should intimate in writing to the studio immediately, failing which it shall be presumed that the customer is satisfied with the studio and all its facilities and amenities and studio shall not entertain any complaints thereafter.
Package & Billing
Package inclusions
All our studio packages include shared access to available sets, boat/raft in the lake, available props and 1 small make up room with Mirror, Mirror Lights, Table & 2 Chairs. Make up rooms are provided with air-conditioner, however, it’s a complementary service and the rooms may not be chilled.
Photographer, make-up artist, outfits, food, etc. are not included in the package. Customer needs to arrange Photographer and make-up artist themselves.
Food is available on ala-carte basis and is ordered from a kitchen nearby. Charges are applicable as per menu card available at the studio.
Cine City also has in-house wardrobe of rental outfits. It is advisable to check and book the outfits prior to shoot day, in order to avoid inconvenience.
Number of Persons Allowed in the package
Every package allows a specific number of maximum persons (including couple) so as to ensure limited crowd at the studio and better shoot experience. All the people accompanying the customer shall be accounted for, that includes couple, photographers, make-up artists, drivers, helpers, family & friends. If the total count exceeds the number permissible, Rs. 1000 shall be charged per person for the additional people. Also, in the case of extra persons coming for the shoot must be informed during booking. The customer shall be responsible for the people accompanying.
Visitors/Guests of the customer shall not be allowed at the premises for more than 20 minutes.
Shoot of only one couple allowed
Pre wedding, maternity and other couple shoot packages are meant only for one couple to shoot. Family, friends or companions are not allowed to shoot. In case found, customer is liable to pay a penalty of INR 5000 for the same.
If more than one couple for pre wedding photoshoot is found using the sets under one pre wedding package, they shall not be allowed and the photo shoot shall be stopped at once and studio shall not refund any amount including the Security Deposit
Time Extension
In case, on the shoot day customer wants to extend their shoot beyond the time slot they have booked, customer shall pay specified charges for per extra hour, such extension shall be communicated to the studio 2 hours prior to check-out time. In any case, the studio shall not operate after 9 pm.
Security Deposit
That in addition to the package rate, the customer shall have to deposit such amount, as may be decided by the management time to time, as and by way of a refundable interest free Security Deposit to be kept with the management till the completion of shooting activity. On completion of shoot and on receiving total charges by the management, the management shall refund the said deposit amount after deducting any cost of damages done by customer or crew.
Payment of Balance Amount:
Balance of the package amount along with taxes shall be paid at the time of check in. All packages displayed on the website are excluding GST.
No discount on final bill:
Apart from studio booking charges, there can be charges payable for add-ons services offered by Cine City and its partners (like rental outfits, food, extra time, etc.) Payment of such add-ons shall be done by the customer before leaving the premises. No discounts shall be provided or no other claims shall be entertained.
Package degradation:
Studio Package once booked cannot be degraded. Package upgradation is possible by informing a day prior to shoot, subject to availability.
Services & Facilities
Make up room
With every package booking, one single make-up room is to be provided for the entire team. Make up room consists of Mirror, Mirror Lights, a Table & 2 Chairs. Make up rooms are optionally provided with air-conditioner, however, it’s a complementary service and the rooms may not be chilled at times.
Make up room will be allotted at the check-in time only. Even if customer reports prior to check-in time, they can sit at the reception.
The customer can use the make-up rooms, relaxation areas and other communal areas only during the hire period. The customer shall ensure that such areas are used respectfully and left clean and tidy after use.
Props & Equipments
Props & equipments belong to the studio and should be returned promptly after use in its original condition and in case of any damage or failing to return, charges will be levied.
The equipments/props should not be altered/tampered and not be used by any untrained or unauthorised personnel. In case any help required, kindly reach out to the studio team.
All props & equipments (smoke machine, blower, etc.) shall be provided subject to their working condition and availability. Under unforeseen circumstances like damage, technical malfunction, the studio is not bound to provide them for shoot and no complaints or payment deductions or claims shall be accepted in such circumstances.
Food
F&B is not included in the package and will be chargeable extra as per menu. Mineral water and other packaged items are available at the studio. For the facility of the customers, cooked food items are ordered from a nearby kitchen. Since the food items are not cooked at the studio, Cine City does not hold any responsibility in terms of quality, etc.
In case customer wants to order food, it should be communicated to the reception desk at the studio at least 45 minutes prior.
Parking
Vehicle parking is available for free at Cine City. Any parking is at the user’s own risk and Cine City accepts no responsibility for theft, damage or any other loss occasioned to vehicles parked on its premises.
Rescheduling & Cancellation
Rescheduling
As a unique preposition, Cine City employs 365 Days Rescheduling Policy. After booking, in case it is not possible for the customer to shoot on a scheduled shoot date, the shoot can be rescheduled, subject to availability of the desired date. Every booking has a validity of 365 days from the date of booking. Rescheduling has to be informed at least 48 hours before the commencement of your booking. In case of failure to appear on the shoot date, the booking will be termed as cancelled and no refund shall be done.
In case, if the studio is closed on the day of the shoot due to some unavoidable situations or natural calamities, Cine City can reschedule your shoot to a mutually convenient date.
Refund / Cancellation
Booking once done is neither refundable nor transferable. The advance amount paid at the time of booking is non-refundable. You can reschedule your shoot within next 365 days as per rescheduling policy.
Any amount once collected, will not be refunded.
The management shall be at liberty to rescind the booking at any time by intimation in writing or by mail to the booking customer without assigning reasons therefor. The customer shall be refunded the full amount received till then without any interest and/or penalty. The customer shall not be entitled to raise dispute against Cine City.
The management shall be at liberty to terminate or prevent the guest to use any set/location at any time, if found any breach of the above terms or conditions. In such circumstances, the customer shall not be refunded any amount received till then and shall not be responsible to pay any interest and or penalty.
Weather
Rains/Weather
In case of rains or bad weather, customer will be provided an option to reschedule their shoot (Total time slot minus time slot utilised), subject to availability. In the event, customer does not want to reschedule, grace time will be given at the sole discretion of management, not exceeding 9 pm. At any condition, the paid amount shall not be refunded.
Miscellaneous
Behavior and Approach towards staff
Customers are expected to behave decently and have friendly approach towards Cine City staff and other visitors. Any such violation may lead to appropriate action.
Belongings
Customers are requested to take care of their belongings. Cine City shall not take any responsibility for loss, theft or misplacement of any belongings of its customers. Customers, photographers and others accompanying shall check all their belongings before leaving the studio. No claims whatsoever, shall be entertained after leaving the studio premises.
Wear and tear
Any form of wear and tear of the studio property by the customer and persons accompanying them shall be chargeable to the customer.
Alterations to Sets
No alterations, decorations or additions to the sets are permitted without the written consent from Cine City authorities.
Power Failure
In case of power failure, we have generator power back-up available. However, in a rare case of back-up failure, customer will be given an option to reschedule the shoot and no refund or payment deductions shall be done. Also, no other claims will be entertained.
Alcohol Policy
Consumption and getting alcohol or any other prohibited substance inside the studio premises is strictly prohibited.
Smoking policy
Smoking tobacco cigarette is permitted at specially designated areas in the studio premises.
Liability & Responsibility
Liability
Cine City just provides its premises to use on rental basis for various kind of shoots. Responsibility of the content shot and any consequences arising during and due to the shoot shall be borne the customer. Cine city cannot be held responsible for the shoot, content shot, distribution of content or any such activity and consequences arising from the activities.
It is Customer’s duty to ensure that the Studio is not used for any illegal shoot activity which is not permissible by law. In case, such things are noticed, Cine City holds an authority to take appropriate action without any payment refunds.
Responsibility
Cine City shall not be held liable to the customer for any loss, damage, expense, or for any consequential loss (including loss of profit) whatsoever or howsoever arising out of or in connection with any of the following: any damage to or loss of property by the Customer or the Customers servants or agents or any third party; any breakdown, stoppage or failure of the facilities and equipment provided in the studio or any other equipment supplied to the customer by Cine City.
In case, the customer asks for any references for Photographer, Make Up Artists, etc, and the studio provides any contact, it is a responsibility of the customer to do necessary due diligence and the studio cannot be held liable.
Damage to Property
On the event of any Damage, losses or any breakage caused to the studio/sets or any equipment therein by the customer or any third party related, during the use of the studio, the cost of such damage shall be borne by the Customer
On such event, loss due to any unexpected or unusual activity, cost incurred to restore its original state will be reimbursed from the Customer
Accident
The customer must ensure that his own public liability insurance is operative for all persons in the studio during the hours of use, to cover any accident, injury or death.
Customers use the studios and facilities entirely at their own risk.
The customer expressly acknowledges and agrees that the studio is a workplace, and as such there will be items that could be dangerous if misused, handled or interfered with.
All customers must follow security regulations of Cine City.
Studio should not be held liable if any such mishap occurs due to any accident or natural calamities.
Cine City shall not be liable to the customer for any loss, damage, expense, or for any consequential loss (including loss of profit) whatsoever or howsoever arising out of or in connection with any of the following: any damage to or loss of property by the Customer or the Customers servants or agents or any third party; any breakdown, stoppage or failure of the facilities and equipment provided in the studio or any other equipment supplied to the customer by Cine City.
Cine City does not hold any liability against any claims made in case of accidents, injuries, loss or damage of any format.
General
Use of Data
Cine City reserves the right to use the data shot by photographer/Cinematographer as a promotional tool for the location awareness through online marketing, print and other media without any formal permission in writing from the customer or photographer and such permission shall always be presumed.
Advertisements
Any samples, photos, images, drawings, descriptive matter or advertising on Cine City website, marketing campaigns and any descriptions or illustrations contained in Cine City's catalogues or brochures, are issued or published for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the sets described in them. They shall not form part of the contract or have any contractual force.
Third Party
Third parties i.e. a person who is not a party to the contract shall not have any rights to enforce its terms.
Jurisdiction
All contractual disputes or claims related to specific contracts are subject to Thane Jurisdiction only.
Amendments
The management reserves its rights to vary, alter, amend and impose new rules, regulations and policy decisions from time to time, without any prior intimation. Such amended rules shall be binding on the customer and his/her guests as if they form part of this rules.
Food Menu
• Ordering of the food items from outside kitchen will take minimum 45 minutes.
• Food items ordered from outside kitchen will have 5% GST extra in the bill.
• Some of the food items may have specific time of availability.
• For serving, we provide disposable plates. Customer can have food and throw the same in the dust bin, after use.
• The liability arisen due to consumption of food (from studio kitchen or outside) is limited to the cost of the said food item.
Rental Wardrobe
• Cine City comprises of an outfits wardrobe available on rental basis. This service is add-on and the rent shall be paid when asked by management.
• Cine City provides a catalog of rentals dresses. The catalog shows the dresses which have been photographed. There can be some more collection available at the studio.
• The dresses are available at the studio boutique and can be booked on spot or priorly.
• The dresses are available on shared rental basis.
• Tail gowns are generally free-sized and clips are provided for fitting.
• For South Indian costume, shirt (for boy) and blouse (for girl) of similar colour needs to be carried. (Red, Maroon, Blue, Green preferred)
• For Cowboy costumes, jeans pants and shirt needs to be carried.
• Advisable to carry white shirt, black formal pants and shoes.
• Please return the costume at the reception counter after your shoot.
• Any wear and tear in the dresses by the customer will be chargeable.
• Some costumes shown in the catalog may not be available as they are sent dry cleaning or already booked.

UNLIMITED OUTFIT PACKAGE:
• Cine City offers Unlimited outfits package in which customer can use any of the available outfits which fit their sizes.
• If customer wants to go for Unlimited outfits package, such thing shall be communicated prior and complete payment shall be done at the time of check-in.
• Even in case of unlimited package, customer is expected to carry following:
- For Boy: Formal Shirts - White, Black or any dark colour, Blue Jeans Pant, Casuals/T Shirts and shorts and Footwear.
- For Girl: Casual Dresses like T shirt, shorts, one piece, Dark coloured blouse for South Indian attire, Blue jeans pant and Footwear.
